The 2017 Harbin Cold Zone Expo will be held from Jan 5 to Jan 11 at Harbin International Exposition Center, according to the city’s trade development association.

As an important part of economic and trade activity at the 31st Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival, this exposition will promote famous branded products as well as fur coats in Northeast China.

The exposition will be held by Harbin Trade Development Association, Harbin Changcheng International Exposition Co and Yicai International Company Management Group.

The exposition area for the expo will be 40,000 square meters, and have 1,500 standard exposition halls. More than 1,000 companies from both home and abroad are expected to take part in the expo.

Exhibition areas will be given over for the display of equipment and technologies related to snow and ice, as well as vehicles used for environmental sanitation in winter. Other equipment and items which will also be displayed include robots, environmental protection products, and organic food.

During the exposition, a series of forums will also be held, including a cold zone urban development forum, LED lighting technology forum and logistics service development forum.
