Harbin’s CPI up 1.9% in November

Harbin’s consumer price index (CPI) rose 1.9 percent in November, compared with the same period last year, according to the latest figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
The price of consumer goods was 1.8 percent higher than during the same period last year, while the price of services was up 2.1 percent.
Other sectors also saw price rises, including education, food, homes, medical services, and clothes, with year-on-year increases of 4.5 percent, 3 percent, 1.9 percent, 1.4 percent and 0.3 percent respectively.
However, the cost of transport and communications has decreased compared to last year, with prices down 1.2 percent. The cost of essentials also fell by 0.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
