The second Harbin ice and snow tourism summit will be held from Jan 4 to Jan 6, according to the Heilongjiang provincial tourism development committee.

More than 400 people from over ten countries and regions will take part in the event, including tourism officials, experts, businesspeople and journalists.

The ice and snow tourism summit will conduct a deep analysis of the ice and snow industry in our country and release a report on current ice and snow tourism data.

Meanwhile, Heilongjiang will also hold an ice and snow marketing event to promote its ice and snow scenic areas.

The CISTPU was launched by the Heilongjiang tourism committee in Dec, 2015, and it is China’s first tourism promotion union launched by a provincial level tourism administration organization. The CISTPU includes tourism departments from provinces and autonomous regions such as Jilin, Liaoning, Beijing, Hebei and Inner Mongolia.

At the summit, the CISTPU will announce the logo for China’s ice and snow brand and tourist routes. Meanwhile, new members will be encouraged to join the union.

As one of the most exciting parts of the summit, the ice and snow tourist routes in northeast China have attracted much attention from the public.

The ice and snow tourist routes in northeast China are among the top ten most attractive tourist routes in China.

To promote ice and tourism in northeast China, Heilongjiang tourism development committee has built five themed tourist routes, including the most spectacular scenic spots in the provinces of northeast China.
