Harbin Railway Museum opens

Harbin Railway Museum opened to the public on Dec 12, 2016, attracting hundreds of history lovers from the city.
The museum is located at No 86 Xidazhi Street in Harbin’s Nangang District.
After five months of construction, the museum has opened to exhibit more than 3,000 pieces.
It has been more than 100 years since the development of the Harbin railway, when it was first built in 1896. The project for the Harbin Railway Museum was launched on June 30 to protect Harbin’s historic railway and cultural legacy.
There are three main exhibition areas at the museum, which fully demonstrate the long history and development of the Harbin railway.
