Zhang Xianyou, the vice mayor of Harbin, met with Qin Shanzheng, the general manager of Singapore Youzhu Co Ltd Asia on Dec 20, in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.

Zhang warmly welcomed Qin as well as the rest of the delegation. 

"Harbin boasts a strong sports industry. In recent years, Harbin has actively expanded businesses in the sports industry, including floorball and electronic sports,” he said.

Zhang also expressed his hopes that Harbin will enhance its communication and cooperation with countries that have a strong e-sports industry through the holding of the final competition of the e-sports game Warcraft.

Zhang claimed that he wanted to further promote the development of sports, culture and tourism with Singapore, so that the two sides could make progress together.

Qin mentioned that Warcraft is a role-play e-sports game, which is very popular among young people. Youzhu will make every effort to ensure the smooth hosting of this competition, and promote the rapid development of the e-sports industry.
