A New Year's evening carnival will be held at Ice and Snow World on Dec 31, 2016, in Harbin, Heilongjiang province.

China’s first ice and snow themed hotel has recently opened to the public at Harbin Ice and Snow World.

The hotel is located in the southwest part of the Ice and Snow Park, and is shaped like a fish. There are three rooms in the hotel, all built from ice and snow.

At the New Year's evening carnival, tourists can write down their New Year’s wishes, put them into the glass bottles and then throw the bottles to the wishing well.

When spring comes next year, staff members will send the tourists’ wishes back to them, with wishes that their dreams have come true.
