Harbin ranked third in the 2016 satisfaction index for white-collar workers, according to a survey conducted by Chinese online recruitment platform Zhaopin Ltd.

The survey showed that the satisfaction index for white-collar workers was 2.5 points, higher than the country’s average of 2.34 points.

Foshan and Tianjin topped the list in the satisfaction index for white-collar workers, scoring 2.65 and 2.61 points respectively.

The survey also revealed that Harbin residents gave high scores to their mental health, physical health and family lives.

However, one area where Harbin white-collar workers report low levels of satisfaction is their vacation allowance.

The survey revealed that 58.3 percent of Harbin white-collar workers don’t have a vacation allowance, and 25 percent have an annual vacation allowance of less than five days.
