Harbin among most popular tourist cities

Harbin has ranked second in the list of the 10 most popular tourist destinations for China’s 2017 Spring Festival, according to the latest tourist report.
The 2017 Spring Festival tourist consumption report was released by Xinhua and Tongcheng Tourism Group.
Other popular tourist cities in the report include Beijing, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Mudanjiang, Yabuli, Jilin, Sanya and Kunming.
Five cities in the list are from Northeast China, which is famous for its snow and ice attractions.
According to the report, tourists are estimated to spend about 3,423 yuan ($492.7) while traveling in China during the coming Spring Festival, an increase of 14.8 percent compared with 2016.
