Harbin Fashion Week will be held from Jan 12 to 16 at the Xichenghongchang Commercial Complex in Harbin’s Haxi New District, according to a news briefing on Jan 12.

This year’s Harbin Fashion Week will last for five days, over the course of which 14 activities will be held. These activities include an opening and closing ceremony, several carnivals and fashion brand release conferences.

Harbin has held five consecutive fashion weeks to date and has become one of the most famous fashion weeks in China, said Wang Limei, chairwoman of the Heilongjiang Garment Industry Association.

A total of 120 fashion designers from 34 countries will attend the fashion week, in which 20 are from countries involved in China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

Presidents of fashion weeks in the Republic of Belarus, Czech Republic and Vietnam will all come to Harbin.

World famous leather brands, men’s clothing brand Zilliand and the glass manufacturer Safilo will also be shown at the fashion week.
