Sino-Russian Exposition to be held in June

The fourth Sino-Russian Exposition will be held in Harbin, Heilongjiang province from Jan 15 to 19, according to a preparatory meeting held on Jan 5.
The exposition will have a theme of enhancing cooperation and innovation.
China and Russia will conduct cooperation in the areas of small and medium-sized companies, cross-border e-commerce, and intelligent manufacturing and organic farming, according to the meeting.
More than 30 activities will be held at the Sino-Russian Exposition, including both business and cultural activities.
The expo will cover an area of 86,000 square meters, including three indoor exhibition halls and one outdoor exhibition hall. A total of 10 exhibition areas will be established in three separate pavilions.
The three pavilions include a China-Russia cooperation pavilion, international fashion pavilion and electromechanical pavilion.
The 10 exhibition areas include the international logistics area, financial cooperation area and organic farming area.
This year's exposition will focus on cooperation between small and medium-sized companies, according to E'Zhongqi, from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Heilongjiang Committee.
"It is a good platform for the companies to communicate with each other," he said.
