Harbin strengthens tourism sector regulations

Harbin will carry out special programs to address problems in the city’s tourism market, China Consumer News reported.

Harbin will crack down on ten illegal behaviors, including cheating, inducing or compelling consumers, operating vehicles without a license and evading taxes.

This special campaign will enhance the supervision of the tourism sector through inspections to safeguard the legal rights and interests of tourists and tourist agents.

Harbin will also strengthen the enforcement of related laws, and ban abuses of power.

Harbin ramps up childcare services

A new comprehensive service center for childcare in Harbin is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
