Harbin gives awards to 20 technicians

Harbin has awarded the title of "Chief Technician" to 20 technicians in a bid to recognize contributions they have made in technology innovation and in the transformation of their companies.
Each of the 20 technicians will be given 20,000 yuan ($2,912) as a reward, and all of them will be included in the database for highly-skilled professionals.
Meanwhile, priority will be given to chief technicians when they apply for funds for new technology promotion and software development.
Harbin will give awards to new chief technicians every two years. These new technicians will be organized to take part in technical training each year.
