Harbin Ice Lantern Garden Party concludes

The 43rd Harbin Ice Lantern Garden Party came to a close on March 5 at Zhaolin Park, in Harbin’s Daoli district.
The garden party had received nearly 200,000 visitors since it opened on Dec 23, 2016. Visitor numbers peaked during the Chinese Spring Festival period.
The 43rd Harbin Ice Lantern Garden Party was themed around ice and snow culture.
Over 20,000 cubic meters of ice was used to make ice sculptures in five different exhibition areas.
All ice sculptures have now been demolished; however, some lamps and lanterns will be recycled for next year.
