The tourism industry in China will make profits of about 10 trillion yuan ($1.5 million), according to the National Tourism Administration.

This provides a direction and opportunity for economic transformation in many provinces and cities, and gives the industry the best opportunity for development in its history.

The transformation of the economy in Northeast China will rely on the development of the service industry, especially the growth engines of pension services and tourism.

China's top commercial property company, Wanda Group, will hold an economic forum on culture and tourism to discuss new opportunities in the tourism industry.

The forum will be held on the 100th day before the opening of the Wanda culture and tourism town. Officials and experts from the tourism and sports sectors will attend the forum on March 22.

Besides talking about the development of the Chinese tourism industry, delegates  will also share their opinions on tourism's role in economic transformation and the new opportunities brought about by the  2022 Winter Olympics, which will be hosted by Beijing.

Furthermore, staff members from China's well-known tourist websites, such as Ctrip.com and Tuniu.com, will offer their views on how to promote and innovate  tourism products with participants from the Italian and Czech tourism departments.

As a global-level innovative cultural and tourism program, Harbin Wanda Cultural and Tourism Town will make full use of its geographic advantages to greatly boost its tourism industry and build itself into a theme park which has global influence.

The Wanda cultural and tourism town has the world's largest ice and snow wonderland and an excellent theater. Advanced design and building methods were used in the construction of Wanda Wonderland.

For example, the ice and snow wonderland covers 80,000 square meters, which is 2.3 times large than the Netherlands Indoor Ski Resort.

The temperature in the wonderland is kept at -5 C throughout the year.

As the biggest cultural and tourism program in Northeast China, Harbin Wanda Cultural and Tourism Town will no doubt become a tourism landmark.
