Harbin to build 100 demonstration villages

Harbin will build another 100 demonstration villages as part of the city’s beautiful village program, according to the Harbin Agriculture Committee.
The city in Northeastern China will attract private capital to fund building village towns, developing tourism and agriculture at the same time.
The city will try to attract both locals and outsiders to live and take tours of these villages so as to boost their development.
The program will start before May 1.
Over the past two years, Harbin has already built 200 demonstration villages in six areas, which have greatly changed the appearances of these villages.
