Epinduo, China’s largest online-to-offline (O2O) provider of Russian goods, launched a flagship store in Haian, East China’s Jiangsu province, on July 1.
The company has launched a cross border e-commerce model to adapt to the internet era.
Epinduo has been enjoying strong growth in recent years and is looking to expand.
"As an e-commerce company which the Heilongjiang government strongly promotes, Epinduo also actively seeks development of itself,” said Jing Quan, executive director of the company.
"Epinduo will be an e-commerce giant pioneering cross-regional businesses in Haian bonded logistics center,” Jing said.
"Epinduo will provide better imported products to ordinary consumers in Haian, and I really hope more and more people will enjoy high-quality products sold from our flagship stores,” he added.
More than 2,000 categories of goods from over 40 countries are provided directly by Epinduo, including food, daily necessities, and mother and baby products.
Among them are more than 1,000 varieties of Russian foods, including Russian ice cream, honey and soybean oil.
About 20 million yuan ($2.9 million) has been invested into the building of the online platform for Epinduo in China, and more than 300 stores are expected to be built in China over the next three years.
