Ikea comes to Harbin

Ikea will open a store in Harbin’s Nangang district on July 6. The new store will sell furniture and household items to local residents.
As the 23rd Ikea store in China, Harbin’s Ikea covers an area of 40,100 square meters, including four stories and 1,121 parking lots.
The new Ikea will sell more than 9,000 categories of furniture and household products, ranging from sofas and carpets, to lights and pans.
The store will not only function as a shopping mall, but will also be an entertainment venue for children, with dedicated staff available to provide for their needs.
On the third floor of the new Ikea there is a restaurant which serves Swedish specialties such as burgers and salmon.
"There are hundreds of furniture products here, and also, you can enjoy Swedish food and snacks,” said Xu Ranran, manager of the new store.
"We look forward to welcoming you to Ikea and hope you and your family will have a good day here,” she said.
