Residents in Harbin will soon be able to have entry and exit certificate applications processed during the weekend, providing additional convenience for people who have no time submit applications throughout the week.
Information from the Harbin public security bureau has revealed that the exit and entry management departments in Heilongjiang province will officially begin using the National Exit and Entry Management Information System on July 31, enabling Harbin residents to apply for related certificates over the weekend.
In addition, the Harbin Exit and Entry Service Center will move to No 2 Gongcheng Road in Harbin’s Daoli district on Aug 1. The new location occupies an area of 2,300 square meters and is divided into four functional areas. The center is expected to provide a more comfortable environment and much quicker services.
To provide enough time for the movement of the service center, the Harbin Exit and Entry Service Center will suspend services between July 28 and July 31.
