A group of journalists visited Xinqiao Primary School in Harbin on June 15 to learn about the school’s culture as exhibited in classrooms and corridors.

The media group also attended performances by several school clubs, including those involved in Longjiang Opera, instruments such as the guzheng, erhu and keyboards.

The show, Longjiang Children, performed by young actors from the Longjiang Opera Art Troupe, demonstrated the beauty of the local culture. Students in the Qihang class recited the classic Rules for Students, which showcased the school's fine educational achievements.

Xinqiao Primary School uses innovative methods to teach traditional Chinese culture. The school applies the essence of traditional culture to the promotion of socialist core values.
