200,000 volunteers on the streets
Many people decided to join a volunteer team after they received help from other volunteers. Joining a team is very simple with recruitment posters seen in the community center and billboards on the streets.
About 202,000 volunteers are registered in Daoli and the number of star volunteers has reached 146,000. These active volunteers can be found at 426 volunteer service stations, among 1,200 professional volunteer service teams, and at 400 service centers across the district.
Influenced by the volunteering spirit of Daoli district, more people have joined the team of volunteers.
Signature volunteer projects, including “civilized commuting” and “clean up the city”, have achieved remarkable results.
Dedicated volunteers in Daoli have participated in 48,000 volunteer service projects and have contributed 32.6 million hours of service.
