Hydro turbine manufactured in Harbin

A 1000-MW hydro turbine in a workshop in Harbin. The 1000-MW hydro turbine is one of the eight hydro turbines that will be installed at Baihetan Hydropower Station, which will be the world's second-largest hydropower station when it finishes construction. The hydro turbine is currently manufactured by Harbin Electrical Machinery Co –– a pioneer generator producer founded in 1951.
