Opera performances staged at Harbin Theater

A performance of classic operas from Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia autonomous region took place at Harbin Theater on Sept 5, serving as a platform for the four provinces to exchange ideas and experience.
Similar events have been successfully held twice before in Harbin, and this year’s event highlights 10 classic opera pieces, with the aim of rejuvenating local traditional operas.
An opening ceremony of the opera performance activity was held on Sept 5, and the whole activity will last until 15.
