The annual chrysanthemum exhibition is scheduled to be held at the Chinese Pavilion Garden in Xiangfang district from Sept 9 to Oct 5, giving Harbin residents an opportunity to enjoy different varieties of chrysanthemum in the early autumn.
The event will have four exhibition areas with over 200,000 plants from 400 different varieties on display, including 30 groups of sculptures made from chrysanthemums.
This kind of exhibition has been successfully held 13 times previously, which aims to promote Xiangfang district’s tourism profile.
This year’s chrysanthemum exhibition will be the first time it has been held in a 3A-level scenic spot.
