Pingfang to establish new health center

Pingfang district in Harbin will establish a new women’s and children’s health center to replace the previous two centers in the region, which is scheduled to start operations in October 2018.
The planned health center, which is located to the west of No 15 Hanan Road, will occupy an area of 3,590 square meters. Total investment in the project is 16.68 million yuan ($2.54 million).
The new health center is expected to treat 50 patients per day when it commences operations.
The health center will replace the functions of the old women’s and children’s health center on Xinyin Street and the Family Planning Service Center in Youxie Street.
The two centers are 2 kilometers away from each other, and they are both located in residential buildings. The new health center is expected to provide convenient services for residents in Pingfang district.
