A man photographs black-headed gulls on the river bank of Songhua River in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province on Oct 17. As temperatures gradually drop with the arrival of deep autumn, Songhua River receives many migratory birds stopping for food and rest during their migration to warmer areas of southern China to escape the cold from the beginning of October. It forms a beautiful landscape and provides a good opportunity for bird lovers to appreciate birds and for shutterbugs to take photos. [Photo/IC]
