Songhua River bridge provides for new transport options

The construction site of a 1,267.9-meter-long bridge crossing the Songhua River in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province. Designed with a two-tier structure, the upper layer will have a two-way road with six lanes for cars, and the lower layer will be for trains. When the bridge commences operations, it will serve as a key piece of infrastructure for Harbin’s third ring road, providing a fast link for cars crossing Songhua River.[Photo/MY399.COM]
