Literary works of Zhang Kangkang go on show in Harbin

An exhibition honoring Zhang kangkang’s literary achievements was unveiled at Heilongjiang Vocational College of Art in Harbin on Oct 25.

Zhang Kangkang, a writer of national esteem from Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, began her literary career at the Heilongjiang Provincial Writers Association in 1979.

Over 38 years, Zhang published 80 literary works, putting more than 600 million words into print. Many of Zhang’s publications were translated into English, French, German, Japanese and Russian for publication in those countries.

Some of Zhang’s best-known works include Yinxing Banlu, Qingaihuslang and Zuonv.

In 2014, Zhang’s work was recognized with her winning the Outstanding Achievement Award in China’s Copyright Business.

Zhang was hired as a visiting professor at Heilongjiang Vocational College of Art on Oct 25.
