Sculptures add spring color to Harbin

To add some color to the city during winter, Daoli district in Harbin has painted plants with bright colors using ecofriendly paint.
The project includes 27 sculpted landscapes along Airport Road and Songhua River, as well as additional designs in a music park.
All the painted plants are in their original colors, and the coatings will degrade naturally without harming them.
“The colored landscapes pull us back to spring,” said a Harbin resident.
The paint will enable the plants to remain in their natural color rather than changing with the seasons.
