Concession stands at Harbin Ice and Snow World Theme Park were auctioned off on Nov 8, with one raising a total price of 1.42 million yuan ($214,275), the highest price achieved at the auction.
Harbin Ice and Snow World Theme Park is one of the largest of its kind in the world, attracting millions of tourists every year. Since the 2017 Spring Festival Gala was held in the park, the attraction has become even more popular among tourists.
During its operating season, the theme park can create thousands of jobs, fueling the development of such sectors as accommodation, catering, entertainment and transportation. Therefore, the auction of the concession stands in the park receives a lot of interest every year.
“Based on my previous experiences, I am optimistic about sales revenues this year,” said an attendee at the auction.
