Harbin to host 2018 Cold Region Expo

The 2018 Harbin Cold Region Expo will be held at Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center from Jan 5 to 8. The announcement was made at a press conference held in Harbin on Dec 27.
Sponsored by the government of Harbin, the expo is themed around economic development.
Several exhibition areas displaying the latest devices for deicing and snow-melting, 3D printing technology, and other advanced technologies ideal for a cold climate, will be on display.
In addition to local and domestic exhibitors, the expo has attracted over 200 businesses from foreign countries to set up booths, including from Japan, South Korea and the United States.
In addition, a special exhibition on 3D aviation printing materials and related manufacturing technologies and equipment will be held at the same time. It is expected to cover an area of 10,000 square meters, accounting for 30 percent of the total area of the expo.

A new comprehensive service center for childcare in Harbin is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
