Harbin’s themed ice and snow exhibition area opens

An ice and snow exhibition area at Harbin Ice and Snow World that was inspired by a popular mobile phone game –– Arena of Valor –– officially opened to the public on Dec 31, 2017.

The exhibition covers an area of around 15,000 square meters, depicting 10 characters and the battlefields of the game by integrating snow and ice sculpting skills, as well as digital technologies.

Enthusiasts of the game will not only enter a vivid world made up of sculptures, but also compete in e-sports competitions, which will be held in the area to attract gamers, with the highest prize being 100,000 yuan ($15,200).

The opening of the area was one of Harbin’s tourism highlights for 2017.
