Longjiang Airlines officially launched a direct flight linking Harbin in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province to Nanchang in East China’s Jiangxi province on Jan 22.
The newly-launched flight is operated using an Airbus A320 and runs every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The flight takes off from Harbin Taiping International Airport at 10:20 am and arrives in Nanchang at 2pm. After a 50-minute stop at Nanchang Nanbei International Airport, the flight returns to Harbin at 4:20 pm.
The new flight marks an important milestone in the expansion of Longjiang Airlines and is expected to boost tourism, economic growth, and trade, as well as cultural communications between the two cities.
In 2018, another three flights linking Harbin to Shijiazhuang in North China’s Hebei province, Xi’an in Northwest China’s Shaanxi province and Chengdu in Southwest China’s Sichuan province will be launched, according to information from Longjiang Airlines.
