Harbin holds ski competition for disabled

An opening ceremony for a skiing competition targeting the disabled is held in Hulan River Wetland Park, in Harbin, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province on Feb 25. Sponsored by China Disabled Persons’ Federation, the competition aims to encourage more disabled people to participate in exercise and promote fitness. The event runs from Feb 25 to 28, and is expected to attract the participation of around 100 skiers from eight teams, including those from Beijing, Hebei, Anhui, Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang provinces, as well as Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
