A new public park is set to be built in Harbin, following the closure of a golf course on May 18. The golf course will now undergo renovations before reopening as a park.
The closed golf course, which belongs to Harbin International Golf Club, is located at No 63, Ganshui Road in Nangang district, and covers an area of 1,192 square meters.
Fields for tennis, badminton and table tennis will be constructed as sports facilities in the new park.
At present, work to convert the golf course is ongoing, with an opening date yet to be determined.
