Two wind power projects in Shuangcheng district of Harbin recently passed the approval of Heilongjiang Development and Reform Commission; which will push forward adjustment of energy structure and improve air quality in Harbin once they start operations.
Both Wanlong and Xingshan wind power projects are designed to generate around 49.5 megawatts of power for the national grid per year. Each project will be installed with 19 sets of 2.5-megawatt generators and one 2-megawatt generator.
Investments for the Wanlong project and Xingshan project are respectively 44.87 million yuan and 47.18 million yuan.
Constructions of the wind power projects are scheduled to start in August; and they are estimated to be put into use by the end of 2019.
