Harbin firm signs $30m smart city project

Harbin-based Guoyu Group signed an investment cooperation agreement with Russia’s MTM Group, which has its headquarters in the country’s Chelyabinskaya Oblast, on July 9. It’s just one of many achievements made by Harbin businesses during the fifth China-Russia Expo being held in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
According to the agreement, the two sides will invest $30 million in the construction of the smart city project in Harbin.
Meanwhile, MTM Group will also take advantage of the cloud service platform of Guoyu Group to promote its products in the Chinese market, including intelligent monitoring devices and intelligent street lamps.
Guoyu Group, founded in 1996, is a technology firm engaged in cloud storage, cloud computing and smart city construction.
It’s the first time that the business has participated in the China-Russia Expo. During the event, it is mainly responsible for the promotion of the Sino-Russia Big Data Base Construction Project
