A total of 14 enterprises in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province were lauded as being the new “National Enterprise Technical Center,” according to a name list recently launched by the National Development and Reform Commission.
Enterprises eligible for inclusion in the “National Enterprise Technical Center” must meet four key criteria. Firstly, they must be leaders in technology innovation capacity and in their respective fields; secondly, they must show input from scientific research to an amount of no less than 15 million yuan; they must demonstrate they have input from professional scientific research personnel (with no less than 150 people forming part of the team) and finally they must show that theyattach great importance to cutting-edge technology development.
Those enterprises listed within the “National Enterprise Technical Center” can receive preferential taxes on imported scientific research devices, and benefit from other preferential economic policies.
Of the 1,369 enterprises being included in this year’s prestigious selection for the “National Enterprise Technical Center,” nine hail from Harbin.
Eligible Harbin enterprises include the AVIC Harbin Aircraft Industry Group, the Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, the Harbin Bearing Group and the Harbin Electric Corporation.
