Harbin Forestry and Grassland Bureau established in Harbin

Heilongjiang Forestry and Grassland Bureau was officially established in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, on Oct 25.
According to the Heilongjiang Institutional Reform Plan, the newly-established department will be responsible for the duties previously carried out by the Heilongjiang Forestry Department, Heilongjiang Forestry Industrial Bureau and Heilongjiang Forestry Resources Management Bureau. The former three government bodies are to be disbanded.
Heilongjiang Forestry and Grassland Bureau will be in charge of supervision and management of State-owned forestry resources, grassland, natural reserves, tourist attractions, nature reserves and geological parks.
