A series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China was held in tourist magnet and amusement park Harbin Sunac Land on Oct 1, the organizers said.

The amusement park was decorated with a huge national flag made up of 12,000 balloons to add to the festive atmosphere.

A total of 56 deprived left-behind children, representing the 56 ethnic groups of China, were invited to express their good wishes for the motherland and enjoy the fun at the entertainment facilities.

To provide better services for tourists, the park reopened a night display during the National Day holidays, that was previously closed due to weather conditions.

Additionally, it launched a free access measure to respond to moves made nationally to strengthen initiatives to support the upgrades in tourism spending and demand.

It canceled the uniform entrance ticket to the wonderland, and tourists who want to try the recreation facilities can purchase single-facility tickets.

Meanwhile, 20 free services and entertainment projects in the wonderland were offered to lure tourists.
