China Railway Harbin Bureau is introducing a new operating schedule, starting on Oct 11, rail officials said.
The new schedule is an improved timetable for trains mainly running in the northernmost Heilongjiang province, made to improve operating efficiency and provide better train services.
According to the schedule, there will be extra trains running on the Harbin-Qiqihar High-speed Railway during the weekend.
There will also be 10 extra trains running on the Harbin-Jiamusi Express Railway and six trains running on the Harbin-Mudanjiang High-speed Railway at rush time.
Also, the K7051/2 trains serving the Mudanjiang-Qitaihe Railway will irregularly operate, according to passenger flow.
Additionally, the new schedule features the extension of the serving route for the G1202/3 and G1204/1 trains, which used to run between Harbin West Railway Station in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang and the Hongqiao Railway Station in East China’s Shanghai.
The extended route will reach Yiwu city in East China’s Zhejiang province, further south compared with the previous terminal.
