The fourth session of the Harbin municipal committee of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference concluded in Harbin International Conference Center of Harbin on Jan 20, according to the organizers.

At the meeting, CPPCC members endorsed the Harbin government work report delivered by mayor Sun Ze, the work reports of Harbin Intermediate People's Court and Harbin People's Procuratorate -- as well as the report on the implementation of Harbin's national economic and social development plan in 2019 and the plan draft for 2020.

They also endorsed the report on the implementation of Harbin's budget in 2019 and the budget draft for 2020.

Meanwhile, the meeting received a total of 569 proposals from the members, with 479 being filed.

In addition, Qin Enting was elected as chairman of the Harbin municipal committee of the 13th CPPCC, Liu Zhiguo was elected as the political advisory body’s vice chairman and Zhang Xiting was elected as its general secretary.

Shen Jianping, Liu Changhe, Xu Yongbin, Li Kanguo, Ji Ping, Zhou Yu, Zhao Yihui and Teng Youping were elected as members of the Harbin municipal standing committee of the 13th CPPCC.
