Harbin New Zone to build extra medical facilities

Harbin New Zone in Harbin – the capital of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province – will build one extra center for disease control and prevention and five hospitals, as well as expand the construction of three medical facilities this year, according to local officials.
 
The planned hospitals and facilities are:
 
1. A 50,000 square meter secondary public general hospital.
 
The hospital will have a total construction area of 50,102.3 sq m, including a 14,500.6 sq m outpatient building, a 16,810.8 sq m inpatient building and emergency center, a 10,790.9 sq m rehabilitation center and a 8,000 sq m underground parking lot.
 
2. A tertiary public general hospital, which will have a total construction area of 73,145.5 sq m.
 
The build will include an epidemic prevention and control center covering 10,790.9 sq m, a outpatient building covering 14,500.6 sq m, an emergency center and an integrated service center to 16,810.8 sq m, an inpatient building and a rehabilitation center covering 23,043.2 sq m and an 8,000 sq m underground parking lot.
 
3. The First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin New Zone, which covers an area of 35,000 sq m, with a building area of 70,223.5 sq m.
 
4. Harbin New Zone International Cardiovascular Hospital, which covers an area of 70,000 sq m, with a building area of 56,303.2 sq m.
 
5. Harbin New Zone Limin Central Hospital, which covers an area of 88,400 sq m, with a building area of 84,303.2 sq m.
 
6. A center for disease control and prevention and a tuberculosis prevention and control center, which will have a land area of 15,000 sq and a total building area of 23,043.2 sq m. 
 
The new medical facilities in Harbin New Zone will include the Songbei medical complex project, the Limin medical complex project and the rural medical center.
