Major roadwork construction outside the city of Harbin proceeds apace on May 27. The Harbin section of the 1,209-kilometer Beijing-Harbin Expressway -- which connects China’s capital city to Harbin in China’s northernmost Heilongjiang province -- is currently expanding. The 70.96-km Harbin section is scheduled to complete construction on Oct 31, 2021.
