The livestreaming event will focus on promoting Harbin’s must-visit scenic sites recommended on the internet, its special cultural and tourism resources and local specialty products -- involving the entire travel experience of dining, accommodation, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment.
Directors of the cultural and tourism bureaus at the county and city level in Harbin will join in the livestreaming session to plug the city’s wonderful scenery, landscapes and food.
A total of 53 local products – among them Harbin’s red sausages, sunflower seeds, beers, soy oil and rice – will be promoted.
Scenic sites that come highly recommended include Volga Manor, Sunac Land, the Siberian Tiger Park, the Jinlong Mountain International Tourism Resort, Jiguan Mountain Geology Park, Harbin Beer Museum, Harbin Polarland and China Snow Town.
Around 500 tickets to Harbin’s scenic sites and 300 culture creation products will be distributed to audiences during the livestreaming session.
All State-owned scenic spots under the jurisdiction of Harbin will offer a 50 percent discount on tickets, from their reopening day after the novel coronavirus outbreak to the end of 2020.
Meanwhile, 32 scenic sites in Harbin will waive tickets for medical workers who went to China’s Central Hubei province to support the fight against COVID-19.
