Harbin New Zone Exhibition and Service Center opened on Nov 15 in Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong province. It aims to help more enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to start businesses in Harbin.

The center is located on Shennan Avenue and has an area of 850 square meters. It will serve as a platform for the rigorous promotion of Heilongjiang province, Harbin city and Harbin New Zone, and an essential link for Shenzhen-Harbin counterpart cooperation. 

The center will introduce the general situation and business environment of Harbin New Zone and related industrial development and policy advantages. It will also showcase the results of cooperation between Shenzhen and Harbin. 

The content of the exhibition is generally divided into seven sections: "Magnificent Heilongjiang," "Charming Ice City," "Impressive Harbin New Zone," "Industrial Planning," "Shenzhen-Harbin Cooperation," "Business Environment" and "Livable Environment."

The opening of the center is another crucial step in the ongoing cooperation between Harbin and Shenzhen.

Known as the “Ice City,” Harbin is located in China’s northernmost Heilongjiang province, while Shenzhen, a beacon of reform and opening-up, lies in South China’s Guangdong province.

The two established a strategic cooperation relationship in 2018 to accelerate their industrial transformation.

Since the Shenzhen-Harbin counterpart cooperation scheme’s implementation, many companies, including Ping An Group, Vanke Group, Zhengwei Group and Baoneng Group, have started businesses in Harbin New Zone.

The science and technology innovation headquarters of Shenzhen-Harbin Industrial Park, jointly built by the two cities, has become the first industrial service platform in Northeast China that connects with the Greater Bay Area.
