Harbin, the capital city of China’s northernmost Heilongjiang province, will hold a city promotion meeting at the 2020 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs, which is scheduled to take place in South China’s Hainan province on Dec 4-5.

The promotional event aims to demonstrate Harbin's resource advantages and unique urban characteristics in a comprehensive and in-depth manner and further expand Harbin's city image.

During the meeting, project matchmaking activities on economic, trade, technology and person-to-person cooperation will be organized. 

Meanwhile, music and dance performances by Harbin Symphony Orchestra and Harbin Ballet will be staged to affirm Harbin’s reputation as “China’s Music City,” an honorable title authorized by the United Nations.

The 2020 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs will take "promoting entrepreneurship and integrating into the new development pattern" as its theme. 

It will invite leaders of relevant departments, well-known economists and entrepreneurs to study and judge China's current economic situation and provide insight on a practical path to realizing the new development strategy.
