Harbin city’s novel coronavirus response headquarters recently released announcement No 23, which requires all passengers departing from Harbin Taiping International Airport to present a nucleic acid test report issued in the previous three days.

The new measure took effect immediately and lasts until March 8, according to information released by Harbin Taiping International Airport on Feb 7.

Meanwhile, Harbin continues to implement tightened virus prevention and control measures during the Spring Festival travel rush.

Authorities require all people from high-risk areas in Harbin city or those who have lived in or traveled to high-risk areas in the past 14 days not to leave the city.

In principle, people living in Harbin’s medium-risk areas or those who have traveled to the city’s medium-risk areas in the past 14 days should also stay in the city.

If people from the abovementioned categories must travel in the following days, they need to get approval from the district, county and municipal-level epidemic prevention and control headquarters. They must also hold a negative nucleic acid test result certificate issued within three days.

People living in Harbin’s low-risk areas who have to travel to other cities or provinces must hold a negative nucleic acid test report issued within seven days.
