Harbin decorated for National Day

The city of Harbin in China's northernmost Heilongjiang province has been decorated for National Day, which falls on Oct 1.
National flags, flower beds, and landscaping have been installed along the city's main streets and at key public facilities and attractions to celebrate the momentous occasion.
According to a higher-up at the Harbin Urban Management Bureau Landscaping Center, a total of areas of 35.86 hectares in the city have been decorated with flowers and plants to create a festive atmosphere.
