Harbin city reports five positive COVID-19 cases

The cases included one confirmed COIVD-19 case and four cases of asymptomatic infection of the virus. They were all reported in the city's Daowai district.
The latest cases are known to be people from other cities in Heilongjiang province who came to Harbin, as well as their close contacts. They were identified by nucleic acid testing during the centralized quarantine period.
The patients are understood to have been placed under isolated treatment in the Sixth Harbin Municipal Hospital.
In addition, related epidemiological investigations and gene sequencing work in the latest round of the epidemic are now in progress. Harbin has reportedly implemented quarantine and control measures for all close contacts that have been identified.
