Heilongjiang NPC delegation holds news conference in Beijing

A news conference was held by the delegation from Heilongjiang – China's northernmost province – to the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress in the nation's capital of Beijing on March 7.
The news conference had as its theme "building a new engine of innovation and development to promote Heilongjiang's comprehensive and all-round revitalization".
It presented the major developments and reforms of Heilongjiang province that had touched all sectors of society, answered media questions and showcased the latest progress being made in important areas of Heilongjiang to the outside world.
They included implementation of the region's industrial revitalization plan, accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas and developing ice and snow sports and industries.
Also looked at, among other areas, was promoting the green and low-carbon development, optimizing the business environment and transforming and developing forest areas.
Li Kun, an NPC deputy and spokesperson, detailed the work of the Heilongjiang delegation, the economic and social development of the province in 2021 and the key tasks planned for 2022.
